The Hague Declaration

The Hague Declaration aims to foster agreement about how to best enable access to facts, data and ideas for knowledge discovery in the digital age. By removing barriers to accessing and analysing data, answers can be found in different fields such as climate change, globalisation and in the medical world.

We started by designing the logo which is representing a stylized world, with an open door. The open door also doubles for an open book with acces to global facts, data and ideas for researchers, businesses and people in general.

The website with the declaration was designed next – including concepts for clear navigation in different stages of the project, and signing for various target groups, on desktop, tablet and mobile.

In a ‘big data’ world where we are creating more information than ever. We created an infographic which sheds light on some of the fact, figures and issues behind the declaration to illustrate the importance to better access to data.
